Macro Monday - Don't Breath On Me

Just a few short years ago, I would have been beating the wall and screaming for my husband to come kill this invader of my home..... But today....living in the country I have learned to accept the "other" inhabitants of Gods world.  So as long as my "pal" stayed on his side of the room, I stayed on mine.  This is just a Huntsman spider I believe. He was pretty cool about me taking his picture....as long as I didn't breath on him... Enjoy!

Week 35

Well I have been out of the loop for a very long time...2013 wasn't a great year...but now it is 2014 so bring it on.  God is with me and family is healthy so forward MARCH!

My picture is of a Florida blue centipede - Scolopendra viridis. I found it in my yard when I was closing my gate...Thought it was really cool looking...Enjoy .

While I was sitting by my bird bath I spotted these yellow banded fellows getting a drink...hot in Florida ya know....At first I thought they were bees but after I snapped some pictures and looked them up on line, I found out they are a Five Banded Tiphiid Wasp....So know you know!

Wow a week has gone by....and I have been snapping some pictures from around my house and area...here are a couple of my "friends"

This little guy is a lizard that was peeking out at me from between the boards on my back porch.....

 This sweet thing is a chickadee. I have several that grace my bird feeder  in the mornings and evenings.

This GUY.... even though sweet looking and funny to watch is one of the many squirrels that raid my feeder and dig up my flower bulbs.  They also eat the beautiful magnolia blooms on my magnolia tree, THEN throw the left over on the ground.......

This wonder bird is a red headed woodpecker that loves to come to my feeder. My dad who lives down the street has one also but his has a solid black back....but they are fun to watch and I love taking pictures....

Hello and welcome...this week I have a "rain flower" or the Zephyranthes reginae .  I have it in a pot right now, but will be planting it in my garden. It has been rainy here in Florida for the past week, so this bloom popped out. I love the color and can't wait to get them in my garden.Enjoy!
